If you’re looking to catch a game or a concert at the James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum, get ready for an experience that’s hard to forget. Named after the legendary North Carolina State basketball coach Jim Valvano, this place isn’t just your average sports arena. It’s got a rich history of hosting intense basketball battles, both on the men’s and women’s sides, and over the years it’s become a hub for community events and cancer awareness fundraisers in Valvano’s honor. The sound system is actually pretty solid, making those buzzer-beater moments feel even more electric. And the seating? Oh, it’s designed for a good view no matter where you sit, with some sections offering half-court views that make you feel right in the middle of the action. Plus, there are special access areas for VIPs, which adds a little extra sparkle if you’re into that kind of thing.
